Lipstick Loving - Burberry Lip Cover in Sepia No.12 💄💋

It's been a while, how y'all doing? 

If you know me then you know I love me some pop of colour on my lips.  I don't really go for nude lipsticks because some tend to make me look sick or like I'm hungry or something lol.

 I bought this Burberry lipstick on a whim a few months ago and I absolutely love it! I think this shade will suit most skintones. My woc sisters you might need to check this out as it's the perfect nude for us. It is about 24quid 😁😁😁 expensive I know !but it's worth every penny! 

Burberry Sepia is moisturising and lasts for a couple hours maybe 5 before I have to reapply. The packaging is so beautiful , the texture, colour and everything about this lipstick is just amazing. I don't even need a lip liner with this lipstick 

This has been my to go look for the last quarter of the year.

Recent Buys: Yves Saint Laurent Fusion Ink Foundation, Touche Eclat Highlighter and Burberry Lip Cover ❤️

How has your week been? Hope y'all well. Just a quick post to share products I have bought recently.

Some of you may already know that I love anything and everything Yves Saint Laurent. It's my favourite brand and I have never found anything I disliked from skincare to makeup to fashion. Their products are just classy and packaging is to die for. I could spend all day talking about Ysl but let's get on to the products I bought

Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Encre De Peau Fusion Ink Foundation

All Day Perfection& Freedom, Featherlight texture

SPF18/ PA +++ 24 hour wear and comfort

-The first YSL foundation inspired by the use of ink, offers soft and comfortable wear until removal. It's hybrid technology generates a texture that feels as light and fine as ink and as concealing as a classic foundation

- The ultra smooth texture glides on effortlessly and melts into the skinfor an even, perfectly matte complexion. The texture is layered over the skin for made to measure coverage without any excess thickness. The result looks natural and imperceptible, offering all women the freedom of a perfect foundation all day long

What can I say about Ysl Fusion Ink foundation? I looooooooove this foundation. It's just perfect for my combination skin. It feels very light on the skin and gives a polished look like I'm one of them catwalk models lol. One of the main reasons I really love it is I found a perfect shade match BD65/Golden Beige. I couldn't find a perfect match in the Touché Eclat foundation so you can imagine how happy I was about the Fusion Ink. I'm about nc46/47 in Mac and a beige Praline #10 in Lancome foundations. In Estée Lauder doublewear foundation I'm shade Amber honey 5N2. If you don't like fragrance in your foundation or have sensitive skin you might want to get a tester before you commit yourself to buying Fusion Ink. It is expensive but I don't mind because it meets the criteria I look for in a foundation especially shade match and staying power. I put it on at 6am and take it off like 6pm and I only blot once in the afternoon. It doesn't oxidise and go orange (Mac studio fix fluid looking at you!) Overall I really love it, safe to say a holy grail in my makeup bag and I use it daily. 

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Highlighter #5 Luminous Honey

- Touche Eclat adds highlights , refreshes your makeup and brightens your complexion. Touche Eclat offsets the complexion's dulling tendencies and revives it's own natural glow by capturing and reflecting light 

- I once bought this before they discontinued #4 after a week I forgot my makeup bag on the Virgin train I was miserable for a few days lol but finally bit my lip and repurchased. I use this to highlight under my eyes. It brightens up my face. When used with Ysl Fusion Ink foundation mŷ face looks flawless. 

Burberry Lip Cover Soft Satin Lipstick - Sepia No.12

- Burberry Lip Cover adds a touch of radiance. The lightweight combination of nourishing oils and gel dispersed pigment ensures intense moisture and long lasting colour.

- Burberry Lip cover contains anti ageing cerramides for fuller lip definition

- shiny polymers offer perfect luminosity

- contains UV filters to protect from damaging environmental exposure

Okay! I never planned on buying this 😳but after spotting the new Burberry counter in House of Fraser Oxford street how could I walk away empty handed lol. I love the packaging, the lipstick everything is just lush #teamburberry❤️ The colour I bought is called Sepia no. 12 which is a perfect nude for many skintones. I'm not too much into nude lips but this one might have converted me haha, I hope I don't get addicted to that Burberry counter lol. Makeup look wearing Burberry lip cover Sepia no. 9 is  coming shortly.

New Beauty Bits!

Hello My Lovelies                                     How are y'all doing? I recently decided to buy a few bits for the summer season. I decided to trial new skin are from one of my favourite brands Yves Saint Laurent whilst I was looking for new summer gloss! I also bought few bits from body shop and Mac Blotting powder as my skin been getting really oily with the high temperatures. I have used the blot powder in recent years and I still love it! I got me a new fragrance for summer as well from Jean Paul Gaultier ie Madame it is an Eau de toilette so it doesn't have great staying power like perfumes do but it's not bad for this season I guess  and it's lovely and refreshing

Yves Saint Laurent Anti-Ageing SKincare programme bought from Debenhams as well. Includes the new Forever Light Creator serum, Forever Youth Liberator Serum, eye creme and day creme 

Clarins Toning lotion with Iris for combination/oily skin, The body shop Sweet Pea body butter for normal/dry skin, the body shop Shea butter lip butter and  Clarins daily energiser cleansing gel 

Mac blot pressed powder in Dark, Yves saint Laurent golden gloss in #4 Golden fuschia. How have you been?  Can you believe its only 20days till xmas? I have been lazying around and havent started preparing anything maybe coz Im in no festive mood *sigh*. Are you in the festive mood yet&have you started shopping?


I have been abusing my rich plum shade of lipstick from Yves Saint Laurent for the past 3weeks I dont plan on stopping anytime soon because its beautiful&I love it. On my nails I been wearing the   Nails Inc nail polish that came as a freebie with Glamour magazine. The shade I got was St James its  a gorgeous show stopping red that will be great for this festive season. Dont you just love the glossiness of Nails Inc polishes?

I have been looking for a new lipstick for Fall. I swatched so many brands but finally settled for the YSL Rouge Volupte number 22 in Exquisite Plum which is a rich deep plum and perfect for the season, I swear the Rouge Voluptes are so addictive you never stop at one. I do love Rouge Voluptes as they are everything I look for in a lipstick. They are moisturising, long wearing and make me feel fabulous. I already  have   # 16 Red Temptation,  Rouge Volupte Perle #104 Stellar Pink  and have 2more on my wishlist

How have y'all been?  Im sorry for  M.I.A but guys I really  do miss y'all.


By now you should know I have an ongoing love obsession  for all things Yves Saint Laurent especially their Rouge Volupte lippies. No jealousing  but YSL are by far the best lipsticks I have tried to date.




 Ysl Red Temptation #16 is a fashion forward statement lipstick. Red temptation is a beautiful very bright orange red shade. Like all YSL Rouge Voluptes it is very creamy and soft. It contains SPF15 and spreads smoothly on the lips


Staying power is great,feels weightless and doesnt bleed or dry lips. I love the formula, the packaging and the variety of shades that YSL offers for all skintones. The only thing I dislike is that its not budget friendly lol

YSL Rouge Volupte Perle #104 Stellar Pink

YSL is one of my favourite high end brands. Over the years I have obsessed over YSL products ie perfumes,lipsticks and mascaras u name it all Anyhoo I picked up a Rouge Volupte Perle lipstick in Stellar Pink a while back which is a very wearable shade for all skintones. Im in love with this lippy

Packaging alone deserves praise,how can one resist this glam gold case with YSL logo huh

YSL ROUGE VOLUPTE LIPSTICK #104 Stellar Pink 

I would say this is a pretty pink mauvey colour and it will suit many skintones.

The texture is very soft,supple whilst leaving a nice glossy sheen

Contains SPF15 which is a big plus

The lipstick is very creamy and feels so luxurious.

The RougeVolupte Perles are slightly different from the original Rouge Voluptes in the sense that the Perle contains pearlescent shimmer so it gives a satiny pearl finish.

I normally dont like shimmer/glitter in my lip products but this was very wearable as the pearle is barely there and it did last a good while too more than the Original Rouge Voluptes

I do feel very grumpy handing over £23.50 on just one lipstick but YSL lippies are worth every single penny. Every makeup lover should treat themselves to at least one of these babies,i tell you. You wont regret it one single bit.Just find shades that are best suited to you and the rest is history.
