I have fallen head over heels for Lancome foundations. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on their Teint Miracle foundation which is just amaze by the way.
When searching for foundation life usually gets complicated. Finding the right brand that makes the right shade, coverage, staying power and one that matches your skin type can be stressful.
I found love with Lancome Teint Miracle foundation beginning of 2012. I have never really bothered with their foundies as they didnt cater to women of colour but im so pleased that they now do. I love it so much that since getting the first sample I have pushed away my Nars sheer glow to the back of my makeup drawers no lie!
I prefer foundations that give light to medium coverage. Foundations that look natural and make your skin shine through. I love foundations that dont oxidise, feel heavy and cake up un me and Lancome Teint miracle is just that type for me.
Why do I love it you may ask?
Teint Miracle is very light on the skin but will even your skintone giving you that flawless natural look. It will make your skin rook radiant. Texture wise its very hydrating as it has 40% water content. The lighter shades come with SPF15 whereas the darker shades for us woc have SPF apparently dark skin tends to look ashy with higher SPF. Comes in a nice glass bottle and a pump,it does looks classy on my dressing table
To get the best of this foundation I wouldnt set it with any powder as that will destroy the radiance/glowy part of it. I never set my foundations with powder anyway as I love glowy/dewy looks
Pros:
*Feels very light on the skin
*Gives a natural look
*Offers light to medium coverage
*Did not break me out
*Skin looks radiant
*Doesnt oxidize
*Doesnt clog pores
*Has SPF
Cons:
I dont really have nothing negative to say about this foundation except that people with very sensitive skin may react to the scent of roses that it has.
*If you have severe acne this will not cover all your spots as it offers light to medium coverage
May not suit people with sensitive or oily skin
Overall
I really do love this foundation its texture&coverage is similar to my Nars Sheer glow ,I would recommend getting samples if you love foundations that feel light on the skin and look natural whilst giving you a dewy/glowy look
* Probably suits people with dry, normal and combination skin
My Skin&Shade
I have normal combination skin which can be sensitive to fragranced foundation but luckily this was not the case with Teint Miracle.
Im between NC45-47 in mac foundations and for a long time I have struggled to find foundation that match my yellow undertones as I tend to fall in between shades in several brands. In Lancome Teint Miracle Im shade Beige Praline #10 which matches me perfectly I guess.
