I was in House of Fraser the other day wanting to purchase Lancome latest foundie  the Teint Idole Ultra which is just to love by the way.A lovely Sales Assistant told me they had an offer ie you buy any 2 Lancome products and get a free gift worth £73. Buy a third item you get a full sized cleanser. I took my time to browse their counter and after a great lengthy chat with the friendly SA about their mascara's and primers I settled for the Lancome Mousse Eclat cleanser which is for Normal/combination skin. I ended up purchasing Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation and the Mousse Eclat .

NOTD: Wet n Wild Tickled Pink

Hello Beautiful people!

How are you???

Today I bring u a Nail of the day post. I used Wet n Wild shine nail in Tickled pink which is a very pretty barbie pastel pink shade. I like the colour but the formula was not so great. I applied a base coat and 2coats of Tickled pink to get an opaque coverage. I was left dissapointed in the supermarket as this nail polish started chipping off after just 4hours which is a shame I dont think will use this nail polish again but anyhoo here is the NOTD!

YSL Rouge Volupte Perle #104 Stellar Pink

Hello My Lovelies!




YSL is one of my favourite high end brands. Over the years I have obsessed over YSL products ie perfumes,lipsticks and mascaras u name it all Anyhoo I picked up a Rouge Volupte Perle lipstick in Stellar Pink a while back which is a very wearable shade for all skintones. Im in love with this lippy

Packaging alone deserves praise,how can one resist this glam gold case with YSL logo huh

YSL Rouge Voulpte Perle lipstick #104 Stellar Pink

YSL ROUGE VOLUPTE LIPSTICK #104 Stellar Pink 

I would say this is a pretty pink mauvey colour and it will suit many skintones.

The texture is very soft,supple whilst leaving a nice glossy sheen

Contains SPF15 which is a big plus

The lipstick is very creamy and feels so luxurious.

The RougeVolupte Perles are slightly different from the original Rouge Voluptes in the sense that the Perle contains pearlescent shimmer so it gives a satiny pearl finish.

I normally dont like shimmer/glitter in my lip products but this was very wearable as the pearle is barely there and it did last a good while too more than the Original Rouge Voluptes

I do feel very grumpy handing over £23.50 on just one lipstick but YSL lippies are worth every single penny. Every makeup lover should treat themselves to at least one of these babies,i tell you. You wont regret it one single bit.Just find shades that are best suited to you and the rest is history.

Sigma Large Angled Contour brush F40

This is my favourite brush to apply blush. The brush is  angled making it easier to contour and define cheekbones. The bristles are very soft and it feels amazing on the skin. This brush can be used to apply Blusher, Bronzer and Highlight

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-crease Eye Shadow Primer

This eyeshadow primer is a must have in my collection. It evens out skin tone on the lids and makes eyeshadows blend like a dream. You only need a teeny bit and this tube will last you a good while. My eyeshadow never creases with this primer when I have a 7am-8pm  long day and another thing is that it makes eyeshadows stay true to colour all day.

Mac Satin lipstick Rebel- a dark pink berry shade

Gosh Velvet Touch Kitch lipstick- my lips but better colour nude/ pink shade

NYX Spellbound lipstick - Bright in your face pink

Lush Tea Trea Water : Popular Toner

Apparently this is a popular toner for Normal to Oily Skin

This feels super refreshing,hydrating and comforting on my skin. Although Lush says this tea tree toner is meant to soothe,cleanse and clear blemishes,I wouldnt rely on this toner completely as it does not FULLY heal or control acne/blemishes. It does calm the skin when you get irritated. If you ever feeling sleepy this toner will wake you up and refresh your face. I have been using this toner for a month and its become part of my daily skincare routine as I find it very useful. As you may know my skin aint that problematic but every now and again I get teenage skin through hormones,stress and medication so this has become a staple to calm skin

CHANEL PERFECTION LUMIERE FOUNDATION

Yes I know,not so long ago I was shouting on the roof tops about Nars Sheer Glow foundation being my Holy grail foundation but being the beauty junkie I am I can love one thing today and tomorrow its another if you get my point. Of coz I really love my Nars Sheer glow but Im on the hunt for a matte finish foundation that gives a natural healthy finish without looking heavy. Some days I want to have a natural matte look.  Chanel Perfection seems to be the perfect candidate so far but one teeny weeny problem I have is that its just a lil dark on me. I I was matched to #94 Ambre  and the next shade up #64 is a tad bit light. If I get sun tan #94 will be perfect

Chanel peferction Lumiere is very lighweight,blends like a dream,gives me a no makeup look,and stayed a full 14hours yes 14 on me with no primer  at alland I never set it with powder. Im in love with this foundie despite the fragrance it didnt break me out which is a big plus

Nails of the Week: Revlon's Emerald City

How have y'all been? Sorry for been M.I.A the past couple days,I have been feeling rather unwell with migraine and it was affecting my sight but fear not,Im better now and ready to read your posts which I have truly missed and bring you more posts....;


Today I bring you a nail polish I was rocking the past week from Revlon namely Emerald City#032 which is a matte finish. I applied a nail base coat and 2coats of Emerald City. The polish dried pretty fast but it did start chipping after 3days well I suppose thus coz its a Matte finish

The Body Shop Skincare Essentials

I really love Body Shop products,Not only do they have amazing body butters and scrubs but they have Great skincare ranges to suit everyone. Now as some of you may know I have dry/sensitive skin, My face usually gets irritated with scents in skincare.




I thought I would share some of my facial products that I really love and are part of my skincare routine as of now.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Serum £10.00

With it being winter my skin needs extra moisture as its already dry. The Body shop's Vitamin E serum is very lightweight,absorbs quickly and is non greasy. It leaves my dry/sensitive skin hydrated.

There is no heavy scent. This serum is best used with a moisturiser  either mix with moisturiser or apply after toning just before moisturiser like I normally do.The serum goes on smoothly and doesnt clog pores. The packaging is great and comes with a fitted pump which is hygenic in my opinion. The price is reasonable. I love this serum would buy again and recommend to those who want extra hydration or a basic serum. I use this day and night before applying moisturiser

The Body Shop Honey&Oat 3 in 1 scrub mask £9.00

This is the best exfoliating/deep cleansing mask I have tried. It cleanses,scrubs and polishes skin with oatmeal grains and Community trade Organic honey. This is to be used by people who have Normal/Dry skin. Can be used once or twice a week. It doesnt dry out skin. Its very effective and gentle on the skin. Not only does it smell very delish and look yum like oats but it deep cleanses my skin very well. After use Im left with soft,supple and radiant skin. I really love this face scrub/mask. It has become a staple in my skincare routine,cant live without it

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face mist £7.00

A quick skin pick me up and excellent for setting makeup. Spritz it on for instant refreshment ,moisture and protection. Its with delicate rosewater scent. I love this face mist. Whenever am on the go and I need extra hydration or refreshing I spray this once on my face. Its great for carrying around as its only 100ml. For those of you who have wanted Mac fix + and are on a budget I suggest buying the Body shop Vitamin E face mist as it works just as great. If you want a dewy look for the day,spraying Vitamin E once or twice over your makeup will give you just that. The Body Shop's Vitamin E face mist price is reasonable in my opinion

NYX Round Lipstick Swatches and Review!

First off let me just say I'm stunned to say the least WHITNEY HOUSTON IS DEAD! Wow how did this happen,we didnt see this coming did we. Death is so unpredictable and it really is sad. We have lost a well talented Star. It just goes to show that life is too short my darlings we should be thankful for each day that we live. We should love each other more and make the best of everyday that comes our way. I haven't got much words to say as I am tongue tied. May Whitney forever rest in peace. My heart goes to her family and friends. She will forever remain in our hearts and of cause we will always love her too.

I really love NYX lipstick,I think they are great value for money and worth having in your collection. Staying power is about 3-4 hours then you have to reapply which I dont mind because they are great
