Mini NYX haul :Selfridges!

Hello My Lovelies!

How are you all? Hope you are all well and everything is going on great for you guys. Anyway so today post is a Mini haul from NYX.

I went to London Oxford Street this weekend and whilst picking up a beauty blender and some Stila products in my favourite store ie Selfridges. I noticed NYX stand. I stood there amazed as I couldn't believe my eyes. Turns out Selfridges stocks part of the range whereas Boots will have the full range online. It came at a perfect time as I was rather sick and tired of paying ridiculous amount of money for NYX on EBay and nagging  family and friends to bring NYX from America lol. I quickly grabbed a few soft matte lip creams that had been on my wishlist forever. I also bought Tinted Brow mascara to set my eyebrows and the Conceal/Correct/Contour palette in Deep I think that's the darkest shade that was available. The prices were reasonably priced in my honest opinion and I do intend on picking a few more things in the near future

The shades I picked up in the Soft matte lip creams are

1- Prague which is a pretty pink shade

2- Copenhagen a pretty deep plum berry shade perfect for fall

3- Cannes a pretty nude shade, perfect for everyday use

4- Monte Carlo a deep toned red

Overall

I'm pleased with my purchases. Will do swatches and FOTD with the soft matte lip creams 

I will be sure to put my 2cents in on the  Corrector/Conceal palette hehe!

NYX Round Lipstick Swatches and Review!

First off let me just say I'm stunned to say the least WHITNEY HOUSTON IS DEAD! Wow how did this happen,we didnt see this coming did we. Death is so unpredictable and it really is sad. We have lost a well talented Star. It just goes to show that life is too short my darlings we should be thankful for each day that we live. We should love each other more and make the best of everyday that comes our way. I haven't got much words to say as I am tongue tied. May Whitney forever rest in peace. My heart goes to her family and friends. She will forever remain in our hearts and of cause we will always love her too.






Todays post we are talking about some of my favourite lipsticks. Growing up I was a lipgloss lover but that has now changed I have learnt to love lipstick more. Its one of those things that I cant live without anymore.




NYX lipsticks are fantastic,not only are they creamy and moisturising but they are so easy to apply. They are affordable,have great colour payoff and the texture is smooth too.They come in a different finishes which are frosty ,opaque and shimmery to suit everyones taste. They have a wide variety of colours too.

Overall

I really love NYX lipstick,I think they are great value for money and worth having in your collection. Staying power is about 3-4 hours then you have to reapply which I dont mind because they are great

My Fave Makeup Gems for 2011

This is a post to share makeup  products I have loved using throughout 2011

Nars smudge proof eyeshadow base- I love this eye primer,my eyeshadow stays in tact all day with no creasing business,makes eyeshadow glide on easily, blend easily and look more intense

Nars eye makeup remover- Removes all traces of light and heavy eye makeup,doesnt irritate the skin at all

Benefit High beam- Highlighter/illuminator- great for addinmg a bit of glow,either mix with your foundation,add on the apples of your cheeks or on your brow bone. Best highlighter I have used

Nars Taos blusher- a desert rose blush which is beautiful on most skintones,highly pigmented&long lasting


Too Faced Duo Sided blush in Pink Provocateur- a candy pink blush with highlighter that can be mixed together to give an everyday beautiful glow

Sleek Rose Gold- a dupe to the famous Nars Orgasm blush this stuff is amaze,I love it its a peachy pink blush with gold undertones

NYX Megashine lipgloss in Gold pink- my lips but better lipgloss,a pinky nude gloss I love it
L'oreal Glam shine lipgloss in Rose blush-  Again another light pink gloss love it
Sleek Pout polish in Rasberry Souffle- contains SPF15,moisturises  lips&gives  a bit of rasberry fuchia tint
Illamasqua Intense lipgloss in Petulant- highly pigmented hot magenta lipgloss,love it



Nars Cheyenne eyeshadow duo-  Gold and bronzey eyeshadow this is perfect for everyday wear and during summer as well. The shadows are pigmented,long lasting and just beautiful

Sugarpill sweetheart palette- You know I love all of the brights hehe these eyeshadows are bright not for the faint hearted,pigmented,long lasting I enjoyed creating bright and bold makeup looks with these

Nails Inc OMP(oh my pink) Bright fuschia colour loved it for spring and summer

Barry M Nail paint Indigo -navy purple like blue perfect for fall&winter

Revlons Nail enamel Tropicana- Bright coral loved it all summer

Sigma Flat top kabuki F80 brush- This has been my everyday foundation nrush,blends in liquid,powder and cream products like a dream. Gives a flawless airbrushed finished look

Avon Angled blusher brush- My first ever blusher brush,I still love it and use it to apply blush on the apples of my cheeks,its very easy to use as it is an angle brush

Mac 217 blending brush- best eyeshadow brush in my collection,I have used it to apply and blend eyeshadows

Nars Niagara lipstick- pinky coral colour

Mac Up the Amp lipstick- Purple with blue undertone colour

Sleek O.M.G true colour lipstick- this is a  very bold bright orange red colour

Sleek True colour lipstick in Fuschia-  a pretty fuschia pink colour

NYX Megashine Lipgloss Review

Hello My Lovelies,How r y'all???Hope u doing great.

About 2months ago my sister knowing I love makeup she bought these for me and made me a very happy woman!!!!!

Please Keep Reading to hear my thoughts on these Lipglosses

Colours I own from left= *Dolly Pink

*Gold Pink

*African Queen

Swatches without Flash *Dolly Pink,*Gold Pink,*African Queen

*Dolly Pink-fuschia barbie pink with no shimmer

*Gold Pink-Pink Infused with gold shimmer

*African Queen- bright Magenta colour with blue undertone

What I like about NYX Megashine lipglosses

*They are very pigmented and not sticky like Mac lipglasses

*They have great texture,good colour payoff& wide variety of shades to choose from

*Very Affordable

*Consistency is very smooth

*Packaging is cute&the tubes are pretty large you get more for your money= 0.53 fl oz whereas Mac lipglasses are 0.17 fl oz and more than twice the price

Dislikes

*I dont like the scent (Cherry like) they have but its nothing major the scent does fade away after a while

Overall

I love NYX Megashine lipglosses and will definitely be buying more

If you are on a tight budget and cant afford high end lipglosses do grab these

 I recommend to Y'all
