Review-Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher

How have y'all been? Back in December I bought Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimising serum on a whim without even sampling it. Why you may ask? All of a sudden I have enlarged pores and they were kinda depressing me when I look in the mirror so I thought hey why not invest in something to tackle this problem before it got outta hand. This serum has got to be the most expensive skincare product I own so far,I seriously didnt know what to expect to be honest but at a hefty tag I hoped we would live happily ever after lol

I really love the packaging,its nice and classy in my opinion

I love that it comes with a pump making it more hygienic

Skin type, Texture ,Scent

Estee Lauder claims that the serum is suitable for all skintypes but I can not support that statement as

Every person is different. However it suits my normal/combination skin with oily t-zone perfectly

It did not irritate me from first use or cause breakouts. The serum has a nice light fruity lime scent which I think is lovely and refreshing. The texture is very silky to the touch and it is not sticky at all

I love how this glides on my skin,I use 2-3 pumps and massage it in. My skin feels velvety and looks clear and poreless when I use the pore minimiser. The serum also acts as a face primer and prevents my makeup from sinking into my pores. I dont even use foundation primer anymore when am using Estee Lauder Idealist

The skin refinisher alsor help my makeup glide on better and stay fresh and put all day

Overall

I think this is the best 40quid I spend on a skincare product and I feel its worth it

I have used this daily ever since I purchased it ,it has made a difference to the texture and look of my skin. My pores havent disappeared completely but they certainly have been minimised. My skin looks even and feels silky smooth. If you are on the hunt for a pore minimiser I recommend you get samples to try at Estee Lauder counters. The Estee Pore minimising serum has found its place in my skincare routine and I will definitely be repurchasing. Im thinking of trying the Estee Advanced Night Repair as a night treatment

Lipstick of the Moment- Nars Niagara!

Hello Lovelies!




I have had Nars Niagara lipstick for quite a long time and I have recently fallen in love with it. Nars Niagara has a satin finish,it is not moisturising but its not drying either but always make sure I put a lip balm with all my lipsticks. Niagara is described as a coral pink although it comes out more pink on my nc47ish skintone
It is a colour perfect for spring and summer but no doubt can be suitable for everyday too. Niagara is quite pigmented and has great staying power 4-5hours before you need to reapply! I think these shade can be rocked by any skintone under the sun

Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower scrub- 

Very gentle on skin its packed with rich mineral sea salt and organic lime

The colour and scent of this is wonderful smells like ocean breeze IMO.I use it once a week 

it leaves my skin polished and smooth without drying

Lush Bubblegum lip scrub

Not only does this smell sweet like candy and taste yummy it keeps my lips in a great condition

Made from Caster sugar and Organic Jojoba Oil it does a great job of

clearing dead skin and flakiness from lips leaving them moisturised and smooth

Argan Oil 100% Organic

This Oil is fab,I have been using it for my face,body and hair.

It has so many benefits to the skin 

It also helps in promoting hair growth and fading acne scars

I have noticed improvement when I used it on its own or mixed with face and body creams

Nowadays Im using it mainly for my hair and I love it

Victoria Secrets Body scrubs in Pure Seduction and Aqua Kiss

I really am a fan of Victoria Secrets beauty products

I forgot to include body mists in the photos. 

Their body scrubs smell wonderful and they leave my skin feeling  very smooth without being dry

Lancome Teint Idole ultra 24hr foundation #10

This is current Holy grail for me,I love this foundation 

Its everything I look for in a foundation,lightweight,doesnt cake off,

doesnt break me out, doesnt look like a mask,love the finish and coverage

Becca Cosmetics Mattifying Primer

I love this primer,its so mattifying and helps reduce the look of my enlarged pores. It keeps my t-zone looking shiny all day

Sleek Rose Gold blush

A dupe to the famous Nars Orgasm blush,its a gorgeous peachy pink shade with golden sheen. It is very pigmented and gives skin a healthy glow

Nars Taos blush

Nars Taos is my to go blush- its a desert rose blush with shimmer
*This is such  beautiful,colour- kinda dark red-coral with shimmer
Its smooth and has has great colour payoff
The pigmentation is Amazing,it makes me glow and look very healthy
It blends flawlessly u can never go wrong with Nars IMO

Nars Taj Mahal blush

Can tell I love me some Nars hey!

Taj Mahal is avibrant tangerine orange blush with golden sheen. Texture is very smooth,it gives skin a subtle glow,Its perfect for those with deeper skintones but those with light skintones can still  find it  useful but using a very light hand. I tend to reach for it during spring and summer 

K by Beverley Knight contouring Blush in Flame

A deep warm amber blush infused with gold sparkles,it gives a lovely flush of colour and is perfect for everyday use

Lancome Mousse Eclat cleanser

This was my cleanser of the year

The light-as-air foam activates with water to create a truly luxurious cleanser. Its fresh formula gently cleanses away makeup and impurities to clarify the complexion leaving your skin soft,radiant and healthy looking

Lush Tea Tree toner

I have resorted to using this every now and again when I feel a blemish/spot popping up. I love it.

I think this is particularly effective for oily/combination and blemish prone skin

It is also very good at refreshing my skin

Antiblemish and antifungal tea tree helps banish imperfections

Lush Ocean salt face scrub

-Made from lashings of sea salt to scrub and clean,Organic limes to brighten and avocado to soften the skin. It has a salty and fruity scent but didd not break me out or cause irritation. I mainly use this scrub for my face but it can also be used  on hands and feet.

• I love the Lush Ocean salt because it exfoliates my skin whilst removing dead skin without leaving it tight. It really leaves my skin feeling smooth, moisturised and radiant

How have you been?  Can you believe its only 20days till xmas? I have been lazying around and havent started preparing anything maybe coz Im in no festive mood *sigh*. Are you in the festive mood yet&have you started shopping?


I have been abusing my rich plum shade of lipstick from Yves Saint Laurent for the past 3weeks I dont plan on stopping anytime soon because its beautiful&I love it. On my nails I been wearing the   Nails Inc nail polish that came as a freebie with Glamour magazine. The shade I got was St James its  a gorgeous show stopping red that will be great for this festive season. Dont you just love the glossiness of Nails Inc polishes?

I have been using the Immortelle Brightening Set for about 2months and I am so excited to tell you about it cause I have never really loved skincare products to this extend and experienced such amazing results. I have been looking for a new lipstick for Fall. I swatched so many brands but finally settled for the YSL Rouge Volupte number 22 in Exquisite Plum which is a rich deep plum and perfect for the season, I swear the Rouge Voluptes are so addictive you never stop at one. I do love Rouge Voluptes as they are everything I look for in a lipstick. They are moisturising, long wearing and make me feel fabulous. I already  have   # 16 Red Temptation,  Rouge Volupte Perle #104 Stellar Pink  and have 2more on my wishlist
