How are y'all?
Im a massive fan of Clarins, their skincare products seem to work really well with my skin
I have been using the Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser the past 3months and I thought it was high time I shared my thoughts
Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser
A one-step wonder. Remove make-up, gently cleanse, exfoliate and remove impurities in one action with the Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser, all the while respecting the skin's natural balance. Tones, revives, and detoxifies for fresh, glowing skin. An essential product for those on the go!
- Gentle cleansing agents remove makeup and thoroughly cleanse.
- Moringa seed extract detoxifies by removing the residue and neutralising the effects of toxic air-pollution
- Orange extract refreshes, tones, revives
- Two types of microbeads clear pores and polish away unwanted surface oils and dead skin cells
How to Use
Dispense into hand and warm between palms. Massage onto dampened skin and work into a lather, exfoliating all parts of the face whilst avoiding the delicate eye area. Rinse well with warm water
Skin type suitability.
They claim its suitable for All skintypes
If you have dry or sensitive skin you may want to get a sample because it does have some sort of fruit/sweet like scent
My thoughts
This cleanser is lovely. My skin is normal combination (oily t-zone and normal to dry cheeks) and this works well. It didnt irritate my skin or break me out. Although Clarins claim that it can be used everyday I wouldnt suggest that as exfoliating on a daily basis with this particular cleanser may dry out the skin. I tend to use it every 2 or 3 days bacause thats how my skin copes with it. The Clarins One step cleanser smells quite lovely and refreshing probably because it contains Moringa and Orange extract. It gently exfoliates and leaves my skin soft and clean without being harsh on the skin. It brightens up my skin whenever Im looking rather dull. I love that it does what it claims to do and leaves me with smooth and glowy skin.
Would I buy again&recommend?
YES I will definitely repurchase as this cleanser does deliver. If you looking for a great exfoliating cleanser that gives glowing smooth skin then you may want to check this next time you pass a Clarins counter. The SA at Clarins counters are always friendly, helpful&generous with samples that you can take home and try before you commit to purchase full size. At 20quid for a cleanser it may seem rather pricey but a little does go a long way, My tube will probably last me till end of April so that means a tube will last you a good 3-4 months which is not bad in my opinion
Price&Availability
Available at all Clarins counters&Clarins website, Boots, John Lewis,Debenhams, House of Fraser, Selfridges, Escentual etc and you get a tube of 125ml for £20.00 depending on where you purchase

ReplyDeleteI used to own this, and I used to really like it. But like you, i only used it every 2-3 days, otherwise I found it a little drying. Right now I use the Olay Pro-X brush so I didnt want to double up on exfoliants.
ReplyDeleteExcellent review, Im tempted to go pick it up again.
This sounds lovely, Sharon. Great review!
